Who Stole Nikola Tesla Idea?

Despite being rivals, Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison had a complicated relationship. In 1892, Edison offered $50,000 to Tesla if he could create efficient generators that would work flawlessly.

However, the generators broke down easily – perhaps evidence of their rivalry.

Which idea of Tesla was stolen by Edison?

Edison copied Tesla’s idea of an AC system, which is more efficient than his DC system. Edison also promoted his simpler direct-current (DC) system over Tesla’s more advanced electric power transmission idea.
