Victoria Advocate April 8, 2003 Dean Quitta, 81, of Victoria, passed
away Monday, April 7, 2003.
She was born December 12, 1921 in Hallettsville, Texas to Edward Miller and Pearl Frazier Miller. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory.
She is survived by daughters: Pamela Flynn of Simpsonville, SC and Mary Markette Kessinger of Bonita Springs, FL; sons: James (Jim) Quitta of Victoria, Robert (Bob) Quitta, Jr. of Danbury, Ct., and John Quitta of Victoria; grandchildren: Randy Flynn of Seattle, WA, Trish Flynn of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Kelly Flynn of Wilmington, NC, Rob Quitta of San Antonio, Tx, Colleen Flynn of Guatemala, John Quitta of Colorado Springs, Co., Sara Quitta of Houston, Tx, Christine Flynn of Simpsonville, SC, Jacki Flynn of Simpsonville, SC, and a great-grandchild, Medaya Flynn of Wilmington, NC. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Quitta, Sr., parents, and grandson, Jamie Quitta.
A rosary will be recited tonight, April 8, 2003 at Colonial Funeral Home, Red River, at 6 p.m.
A visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m.. Private family services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2003 with Msgr. Michael Harrold officiating.
Pallbearers: Jim Flynn, Mal Kessinger, Tom Tucker, Robert Barnwell, and grandsons.
