Mrs. Mary M. Anders, 73, a resident of Galveston for the past 53 years died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday at John Sealy Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Malloy & Son Funeral Home, followed by 10 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Rev. S. J. Culotta, assistant pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.

A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends may call after 11 a.m. today.

Mrs. Anders was born Sept. 10, 1891 in Holman. She was the widow of William R. Anders who died in 1960.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank C. Krc and Mrs. John J. Valusek, both of Galveston; a son, Steve Bruzek, of Nederland; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Frers of Columbus, Mrs. Wilma Bartolovich of East Bernard, Mrs. Lillian Camp of Austin and Mrs. J. W. Hersey of Galveston; a brother, Alfons Hlozek of East Bernard; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include P. B. Anders, Robert L. Knebel, William J. Hersey, Leon J. Hersey, Victor J. Krc, David W. Froeschl and James P. Pruzek.
