Funeral services for Elsie Jetelina Andel, 74, of Victoria, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, at Holy family Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Vrana officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary services will be held before the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Andel died Oct. 24, 2002, in Victoria. She was born Oct. 7, 1928, in East Bernard to the Late Mathew Jetelina and Mary Vaclavik Jetelina.

She married Frank Andel Jr. on July 9, 1946, in East Bernard and he preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1991. Mrs. Andel was a former resident of Egypt and a longtime resident of Boling. She worked as a food service manager at Iago Junior High School for 20 years and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boling. Mrs. Andel was also a member of the American Legion, Catholic Daughters and K.J.Z.T.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and William Bearden of Overland Park, Kan.; son and daughters-in-law, Edward and Romona Andel of Grand Prairie, Richard and Lori Andel of Victoria and James Andel of Grand Prairie; sisters, Mary Sebesta of Spring and Eleanora Socha of Galveston; brothers, John Jetelina and Joe Jetelina, both of Lane City; eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
