Boling - Adolph S. Andel, 80, of Boling, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004.
He was born April 21, 1924, in East Bernard, to the late Vincil Andel and Julia Scotka. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Forces. He was also a retired plant manager for Maxim Egg Farm and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wharton.
Survivors: daughters, Karen Heintschel of Pledger, Brenda Andel of Wharton, and Kimberly Wiesner of El Campo; sons, Adolph Danny Andel of Boling, Patrick Andel of Magnet, Myron Andel of Wharton, and Darryl Andel of Pledger; sisters, Martha Janik and Bernice Janik, both of East Bernard; brothers, Edmund Andel of Austin and Daniel Andel of Clute; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: wife, Mary C. Rachunek Andel; and two sisters.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at St. John's Catholic Church in Hungerford.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the church.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
