Obituary of Edward Allcorn, long time resident of Houston, Texas, died July 23, 1998 at the age of 76.

He was born in Somerville, Texas to John and Addie Allcorn. Eddie was a member of The Carpenters Local #551 since 1946. A member of the 1st Baptist Church of the Woodlands and the Manvel Trail Riders.

Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gladys Allcorn; daughters Jane Swearingen and husband Jerry, Judy Bryan and husband James; sons, Mike Allcorn and wife Patty, Gary Allcorn and wife Sandy; sister, Lydia Kovar; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, Conroe, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 1998 in the funeral home chapel with Mike Allcorn and John Livaudais officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
