History
The Concho Valley Chapter of the Czech Heritage Society of Texas was organized on May 16, 1987 at the SPJST Lodge #49 in Rowena, Texas. Concho, Tom Green, and Runnels are the counties included in this chapter. Fourteen members enrolled at the founding meeting. with Stanley Broz serving as the first president. In 2002, the chapter had 35 members with Louis Kokes of San Angelo, Texas serving as president. Dorothy Drgac Kokes is Louis' wife.
Local chapter dues are $15.00 yearly.
Meetings are open to all who are interested in Czech Heritage, culture and early Czech immigrants. We invite you to come and join us for fun and fellowship.
